Paper accepted to the ICEIS2007 - 9th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems

The paper entitled "A Distributed Multi-Agent System to Solve Airline Operations Problems" has been accepted for publication and presentation at ICEIS2007 - the 9th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems. This conference will take place in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, from the 12th to the 16th of June of 2007.

Honourable Mention Paper at COMIC07!

My paper entitled "A Distributed Multi-Agent System to Solve Airline Operations Problems" has received an Honourable Mention at COMIC07 the 2nd Conference on Methodologies for ScientifIC Research.
The main motivation for the second CoMIC conference was to offer a space for presenting and debating ideas and PhD projects focused on topics in Informatics Engineering and Computer Science, while trying to improve best practices and methodologies for writing scientific papers. This initiative was promoted by the Doctoral Program in Informatics Engineering (ProDEI) of Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP), with the contribution of this faculty and of the University of Porto.
The conference, without formal publications, is included in the discipline called "Scientific Research Methodologies", that belongs to the curricular part of the PhD program.

Paper accepted for publication at the International Journal of Agent Oriented Software Engineering

The paper entitled "The Rationale Behind the Development of an Airline Operations Control Centre using GAIA based Methodology" has been accepted for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Agent Oriented Software Engineering. It should appear at the June/July 2007 edition.

Thesis presentation and defense scheduled!

The thesis presentation to the jury is schedule to the 30st of March of 2007, at 14.30. The presentation will be at the Porto Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal. The jury is composed by: Professor Rui Camacho, Professor Pavao Martins and Professor Eugenio Oliveira,
